The customer may start the process of switching providers at any time without having to state a reason. The procedure is governed by Article 17 of the DMARCeye Terms of Service.

Step 1: Submitting a request and preparing

You can export most data on a self-service basis directly in the Application Dashboard at https://app.dmarceye.com/ or through the documented API interface. If you need a complete export of data beyond the standard interface, contact technical support at support@dmarceye.com.

Step 2: Exporting and transferring data

Data can be downloaded manually in the Dashboard (domains, reports, exports and settings) or in bulk using the API. During the notice period and the transitional period, we provide reasonable assistance with the migration under Section 17.2 of the Terms.

Step 3: Termination and deletion

After the end of the transitional period, we will retain the Exportable Data and keep it accessible for a further 30 calendar days. After this period expires, we will carry out a complete erasure of all Exportable Data and digital assets created directly by the customer or directly related to the customer, provided the transfer has been successfully completed (Section 17.7 of the Terms), in accordance with the documentation relating to the processing of personal data.

3. Transparency of international data access

DMARCeye is committed to data sovereignty and data security:

  • Infrastructure location: We store and process Exportable Data in the EU, or the EEA.
  • If authorities outside the EEA request access to data, we will assess the lawfulness of the request and inform the customer of the disclosure, where legal regulations permit. We share data only to the extent necessary and ensure its protection through appropriate technical and legal measures.
  • A detailed description of the technical security measures is set out in ANNEX B TO THE DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT (Technical and organizational measures).
  • How our processors handle data, including the list of those processors, is described in ANNEX C TO THE DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT (List of processors). Some processors may transfer data to the USA on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

4. Fees on termination

In accordance with the Data Act, the following rules apply:

  • Self-service data export is free of charge.
  • Assistance from technical support may be charged up to the amount of the actual costs if its scope exceeds standard support. The price for these assistance services will be determined as the product of the time actually spent and the agreed hourly rate.
  • If you obtained a discount on the Fee conditional on a longer period (e.g. an annual plan) and you terminate the agreement earlier, you will pay the difference between the discounted price and the standard price for the period used under Section 17.8 of the Terms. We refund any overpayment within 14 days of the termination of the agreement (Section 17.9 of the Terms).
  • From 12 January 2027, all acts associated with switching providers and erasing data will be provided free of charge.
